About East of Sideways Music

East of Sideways Music is uniquely positioned in the marketplace as both an E label/traditional label, and music publishing company, with masters available for Film/TV use, as well as custom composed tracks created on a per project basis. Songwriter demos and masters are also available for consideration by other artists and producers for inclusion on their projects.

The founding of EOS Music was initiated by Barry Keenan when he invited Jeff Hirschtick to join with Neville Johnson and himself in a new partnership focused on presenting music, in all it's forms, to a rapidly evolving market. Through foresight, EOS Music has fully embraced the E label concept of digital delivery of product, creatively utilizing promotional opportunities offered by the expanding world of the Internet. East of Sideways Music is joining an entertainment industry in the midst of a digital revolution, and is poised to make a significant contribution.

The EOS Music Publishing Division has grown out of the EOS Music partners' appreciation for well-written songs and strong instrumental melodies. The East of Sideways Music partners are all former and current songwriters and artists themselves. This has greatly enhanced their ability to develop an artist friendly music publishing division. EOS works in tandem with upcoming, as well as established songwriters to promote their music catalogues both artistically as well as commercially. "We hear songs from a songwriters point of view."

Barry Keenan, the founding member of East Of Sideways Music, has over thirty years of experience in the music business.  He is an award winning songwriter, and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, and performer.  His music has been heard in films, on television, as well as radio.   Mr. Keenan is also a skilled and seasoned recording engineer and producer having worked on the recorded music of a vast array of highly successful and diverse artists from Adam Ant, Sting,  Solomon Burke,  No Doubt , Los Lobos, Robert Cray, The Cranberries, Warren Zevon, Pantera, Beck, to Tears for Fears, Smashing Pumpkins, Bruce Hornsby, Devo, and The Goo Goo Dolls, to name  a few.  You can visit Barry Keenan's Producer Web site at www.BarryKeenanProducer.com.  Barry is in charge of EOS musical production, as well as his A&R and executive duties.

As an entertainment attorney for over 30 years, Neville Johnson has protected the rights and interests of producers, artists, songwriters, and independent record labels and music publishers. Neville is presently the counsel for The Academy of Country Music. He is also the author of The John Wooden Pyramid of Success: The Biography, Philosoply, Oral History and Ultimate Guide to Life, Leadership, Friendship, and Love of the Greatest Coach in the History of Sports, now in its second edition. His law firm is located in Beverly Hills, California.
